Women’s organisations are angry of the sexist remarks made by number of political and religious leaders in the wake of brutal Delhi gang-rape.

Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi yesterday said women should not go out with men other than relatives and was in agreement with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s opinion that most rapes take place in cities and not villages.

However, Azmi’s son is not in favor of his father’s opinion.

“For the first time, I felt the person making those statements is not my dad,” pointed out Farhan Azmi, son of Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi.
